Meidiama aims to make its website usable by as many people as possible and to improve accessibility over time. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing design and testing practice rather than a one-time certification.

Design and development practices

• Visible focus indicators.
• Semantic HTML and meaningful heading structure.
• Labels and instructions for forms.
• Text alternatives for meaningful images and icons.
• Readable typography and responsive layouts.
• Careful color contrast and non-color cues.
• Clear link names and predictable navigation.
• Reasonable support for screen readers and other assistive technologies.

Standards target

The technical design target for this package is informed by WCAG 2.2, a W3C Recommendation. We do not claim that the production site is fully conformant to WCAG 2.2 AA until it has been tested and audited in its final implementation.

Known limitations

The final production site's accessibility depends on the e-commerce platform, payment flow, third-party widgets and any embedded services that are eventually added. These components must be included in the final accessibility review.
